Orange Grove Live at the Dune

Saint Martin’s favourite, Orange Grove will be performing this Sunday, August 14th, from 11:30-2:30pm at the Dune Preserve.

There’ll be a BBQ, Drinks, and lotsa fun!

Boats and yachts from Saint Martin should call 264-582-9864 or email [email protected]​m to clear into Anguilla.

Atlantic Storms and Anguilla

Just a heads up re: the now 4 Atlantic storms being tracked.

The one of concern to us is Storm 93L which is still over 2,100 miles to our east.

Current thought is the storm in front of 93L (slower moving Storm 92L) could be absorbed into 93L (but no matter – 92L is currently not a threat).

Although too far for any accurate forecast, models call for it to track over the northern islands sometime Tuesday/Wed. without reaching hurricane status.  But it is a large storm and we should expect at least rain and some squalls mid-week.

Keep checking http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/index.shtml every 6 hours for updates.

Seven Anguillians Receive Scholarships for Tourism

The Caribbean Hotel Association Education Foundation (CHTAEF) has awarded seven persons in the tourism industry in Anguilla with scholarships.  The scholarships were announced and awarded at a ceremony at Paradise Cove Resort on Friday July 29.

Anguillian Viceroy Chefs Visit the Hamptons

George Reid and Jordel Gumbs, chefs from Viceroy tantalized more than 600 experts at the Chef & Champagne New York  James Beard Gala.  Their menu included Yuzu-Marinated Conch and Grilled Blue Prawn Escabèche with Mango, Pear, Apple, Mint, and Sweet Chile Relish.
