The BEST Nachos in Anguilla

March 27, 2022 By Yuki Leave a Comment

When it comes to nachos, there’s no beating Elvis’ extra-rich and cheesy plate…

This indulgent, heaping plate of nachos features black beans, jalapenos, guacamole, sour cream, diced tomatoes and of course, a most generous slathering of the oh so savory homemade pico cheese!

Indeed, this plate is a dream…

For good measure, add your choice of meat. Options include ground beef, pulled pork, shredded chicken, jerk chicken and the slow cooked goat, which is an especially popular choice.

A “must eat” in Anguilla, drop into Elvis’ daily for THE best nachos on-island. Elvis’ is open daily for lunch, dinner and late night eats.

When the ocean calls, Ocean Echo answers with one of THE best cocktails on-island…

Have you tried the Rumzie?

Potent and punchy, Ocean Echo’s rum punch balances its flavors perfectly. As you sip, hints of mango, peach and orange come through. What’s the real secret ingredient, though? The Ocean Echo family will never tell you! Their recipe is sworn to secrecy 😉

Whatever the secret ingredient, it is dangerously delicious. Do not miss an Ocean Echo rum punch on your trip to Anguilla!

Mouthwatering 16 Hour Short Ribs from Malliouhana’s Celeste

July 3, 2021 By Yuki Leave a Comment

Malliouhana has long been our family’s #1 spot for watching the sunset. Come sunset hour? The views take your breath away in a million shades of purples, pinks and oranges!

Going hand in hand with a view fit for a queen, Malliouhana’s signature restaurant, Celeste delivers on the promise of its grand setting.

This restaurant was the best restaurant in the Caribbean when the hotel first opened in the 1980s. Headed up by Michelin-starred chef, Chef Michel Rostang, its focus? French-Caribbean fusion. Today, that standard of cuisine is back at Malliouhana’s restaurant, Celeste.

Don’t miss the salt fish with tomato ragu and mini Johnny cakes, and the 16 hour short ribs with a tamarind jus. The mere thought of those sumptuous short ribs makes our mouths water!

Celeste is open nightly for dinner. For reservations, call: 264-497-6111

ALL Time Best Crayfish in Anguilla

January 13, 2020 By admin Leave a Comment

Oh, Palm Grove… where to even begin? Our love affair with this sandy beach shack runs deep.

palm grove anguilla

Set on Junk’s Hole, Palm Grove (aka Nat’s) is an off-the-beaten path gem. Extra-tranquil, this low-key, open air beach bar takes full advantage of its location.

The best way to begin an afternoon at Palm Grove? With Nat’s famous rum punch. Fruity and delicious, buyer BEWARE. These tasty drinks pack a punch!

What’s for lunch? Crayfish so fresh, you may even see the fisherman hand-deliver your lunch, live. Once in Nat’s hand, Nat boils his crayfish to seal in the juices. Then he BBQ’s and spices them to perfection.

As Nat approaches with a giant tray of crayfish, our mouths always water…
