This week Anguilla received a special visitor. A juvenile Greater Flamingo was seen on the northern edge of Rendezvous Bay Pond feeding among Snowy Egrets, Least Terns, Brown Pelicans, and Black-necked Stilts.
This species is considered a rare visitor to Anguilla with the last record of a bird on Cove Pond from November of 2000 to January of 2001.
