Ten young women in Anguilla will vie for the title Ms. Venus Model Anguilla at a grand show to be held at the Landsome Bowl Cultural Center on Saturday June 15 at 7:30pm.

There will be several titles to be won: Best Interview, Best Swimsuit, Ms. Amity and Ms. Photogenic. Sheila Davis is spearheading this event which is the first of its kind on the island�a show they hope to stage annually. The main focus of the competition is the Swimwear Segment where the ladies will showcase three different swimsuits.

The event is sponsored by Venus Swimwear line based in Florida. The winner of the swimsuit competition will get the opportunity to participate in the Venus Model Search, an international event where the winner will get the opportunity to sign modeling contracts with Venus Swimwear among other prizes.

The ladies have a fun pre-show program including a boat excusion, watersports activities and a sleep-over in St. Martin. Tickets will be made available closer to the show date at The Frangipani Beach Club, The Anguilla Drug Store and The Rainbow Mall. Tickets cost US$12 per person and you pay US$15 at the gate.
