Anguilla 1998 Carnival and Boat Races

Click to enlarge carnival Start planning your visit to Anguilla for Carnival and boat races this summer. Read all about last year's events. Carnival opens on Thursday, July 30th with a free show and fireworks at the Carnival village and continues with activities every day until August 10th. (See the Queen candidates.)

The opening ceremony, Boat races, Kids'Carnival and street dancing are free, but there is an admission fee for events at the Carnival Village (US$8-15, buy tickets at the door). The village is set up in Landsome Bowl in The Valley. Turn at the Anglican Church and go past the Valley Primary School.
